Many people working 9-5 jobs today would like to earn more money and freedom by starting their own online business, selling a service or digital product.

However the same 3 obstacles block people from getting there.

No vision: if you don’t see where you want to go, you’ll never get there.

​

Worse, without a clear vision you might end up even farther from where you want to be.

​

If clarifying vision is difficult, start with an anti-vision:

What you definitely don’t want.

​

Sometimes its easier to now what we don’t want than what we do want.

​
​

Take the time to get very clear on what you want.

​

Not what you think others would think is cool.

​

And get very specific: this amount of money, this house, this daily lifestyle.

​

It should be as unique as you are.

​
​

No offer: no clue what to sell.

​

This is the hardest part.

​

Because this is what you’ll have to pitch and talk about.

​

And its based on problems.

​

Find people’s problems.

​

And talk to that problem.

​

Thats how you get attention once you have attention you can pitch your solution.

​

I think this part is difficult because its the creation of value.

​

And we feel like we have to create value from nothing. We have to charge money for this.

​

But the value is already created.

​

The value resides in the problem your customer has.

​

And the pain and frustration that problem causes them.

​

Resolving that problem for them is valuable.

​

No systems: Without systems, you don't have a business.

​

Building a business is just a set of tasks you repeat daily.

-Making marketing posts.

​

-Having sales calls.

​

-Managing cash flow.

​

Little by little those efforts compound.

Without a system, your efforts will not be organized.

They will be scattered and inconsistent.

​

And you wont see any progress.

​

Establishing a system, any system will protect you energy.

​

Find a system that works for you.

​

One of the best ways to systematize is to set aside specific time blocks to focus on specific tasks.

​

Every morning from 6am-7am I write.

​

After a week I have 10 pages of ideas.

​

Which allows me to grab ideas and schedule them for posting.

​

So I can grow an audience.

To sell to.
